My name is Daniela Snyder and I am originally from Munich, Germany. I’m an established photographer, storyteller, horse enthusiast, aviation fan and I love history.
As a child, I was fortunate enough to have an amazing cake and pastry store right around the corner and that is how I developed a passion for German sweet goods over the years. I spent many of my summers in Austria and so you will find that I have added a little Austrian twist to many of my creations. I’ve been living in the U.S. for over 30 years and German cakes are either not available or not authentic, so I just started baking my own.
German cakes are not overly sweet, but very rich, complex in flavor and texture. Many include layers that make baking them a very time consuming process overall.
Due to ever rising costs of the many ingredients I use, 2023 will be my last year in business and so let me start out by thanking each and every one of you for your encouragement and support! It is my sincere hope that was able to bring to you a culinary experience that has evolved through centuries with many variations from region to region.
Each of my cakes is delivered the same day it is being baked to ensure freshness. Delivery locations include but not limited to: Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Lancaster, Tega Cay and Lake Wylie.
All of my baked goods are made from scratch and according to original German recipes. I continuously work with German suppliers to source the most authentic ingredients and spices, and use old-fashioned techniques to ensure the highest quality. My goal is to make your taste buds happy and bring a taste of Germany to your table.
Send a gift card to friends and family for a special treat or buy it now for your future use.
If you are interested in a particular German cake for that special occasion, please feel free to inquire.
